If I ever run into Al Dunning I definitely need to buy him a drink...or maybe a yacht. He got me started with an article in The Western Horseman magazine probably before you all were born.

I don't remember the exact article but I sure enough remember his advise on rein control and "shaking" the reins with your fingers rather than "pulling". 30 some years later I think of that advise about every time a grab a rein.

Now to tell a little secret about Mr. Dunning...he had curly hair back then. But he still got a really cool first name huh..............?
